(ANDERSON) - Nationally renowned shrink and talk show host, Dr. Phil McGraw, wants to help put an end to the city of Anderson’s mayoral fiasco.
Producers from the "Dr. Phil" show invited Mayor Kris Ockomon to be on the show along with former Mayor Kevin Smith.
The new and old mayors are in a battle over who should lead the city. Former Mayor Smith says Ockomon shouldn't be mayor because he claims Ockomon didn't live in Anderson during the time he ran for office.
Both Ockomon and Smith declined the "Dr. Phil" show segment saying it would be unprofessional to take their dispute to the national airwaves.
