(STATEHOUSE) - The Democratic speaker of the Indiana House said he was glad to hear Governor Daniels talk about bipartisanship in finding solutions to the property tax mess.
Patrick Bauer says he's been troubled lately that House and Senate Republicans seemed to be off the chart on some of the proposals. Bauer says they need to work together to make more winners than losers.
Bauer says he thinks they can get the job done, but accused the governor of pulling out after a week in the long session and says he hopes he stays to the finish line this time.
