(TERRE HAUTE) - A recount for the Terre Haute mayor’s race will begin Monday morning.
This after, Indiana's Supreme Court rejected an emergency motion to stop the recount from happening.
James Bopp, Jr., the attorney to Terre Haute mayor-elect Duke Bennett -- said the high court decided there wasn't an emergency -- so the recount will proceed.
Democratic Mayor Kevin Burke filed for the recount after he was unseated by Bennett by over 100 votes.
