Muncie Candidates Prepare For Mayor Seat

(MUNCIE) - As a recount begins in the Muncie mayor’s race, both candidates are getting ready for office.
Republican Sharon McShurley, who lost by 11 votes to Democrat Jim Mansfield says she's already putting together her transition team.
She says she believed Mansfield had planned to attend a municipal official training workshop in Fort Wayne. She'll be attending one in Lebanon.
The official vote tally is due by December 20th.
