(FORT WAYNE) - More of Mayor Graham Richard’s administration will stay to help Fort Wayne’s next mayor, but he said that won’t keep him from having his own voice.

Democratic Mayor-Elect Tom Henry on Friday announced the final five members of his cabinet. Of his 11 appointments, 10 are holdovers from Democrat Graham Richard's administration.

Henry said the continuity will be a good thing for his administration, as it will allow services to continue as normal. He said he isn't concerned that keeping the same people will keep him from having his own voice as mayor. Instead, Henry said his appointees bring an incredible amount of knowledge and experience that should help smooth his transition into the mayor's post.
