Bayh Pushes Charity Protection Bill

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Indiana Senator Evan Bayh would put new requirements on retailers who offer to donate a portion of sale proceeds to charity.
The Protecting the Spirit of Giving Act would require retailers to notify a charitable organization before it could use the group's name in a charity promotion.
