Carmel Mayor, Council Get Raises
Last updated on Saturday, November 24, 2007
(CARMEL) - Elected city officials in Carmel can look forward to a pay raise next year.
The council passed an ordinance earlier this year issuing a 3-percent pay raise across the board.
The increase will bump Carmel Mayor Jim Brainard's salary by more than 3,000 bucks to over 109,000 thousand a year.
By the way, Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels only takes home around 95,000 each year.
