Blanton In As Southern Indiana Representative
(INDIANAPOLIS) - Sandy Blanton of Orleans has been sworn in as the new state representative for Southern Indiana’s 62nd District.
She was sworn in at the Indiana State House Tuesday during the legislature's organization day.
Democratic precinct committee members selected Blanton to replace longtime representative Jerry Denbo, who recently retired.
Blanton is an accountant for Comprehensive Health Care in Paoli. Her husband, Larry Blanton, is the circuit court judge in Orange County. He accompanied her to Tuesday's ceremony.
