(UNDATED) - Their message is simple - pass the SCHIP Bill.

Supporters of the State Children's Health Insurance (SCHIP) Bill are ruing congressional Republicans to join Democrats and override the president's veto of the original legislation.

Representatives from several organizations gathered at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis to call on Indiana's delegation to vote in favor of an override.

The bill seeks to expand the SCHIP program by 35 billion dollars.

Congress is scheduled to vote Thursday, however Democrats are skeptical they will get the needed 2-thirds majority needed to override the veto.
