Congressman Hill Not Sold On Daniels' Tax Plan
(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - As more area politicians get a chance to look over Governor Mitch Daniels’ property tax relief plan, more reactions are coming out.
This time, 9th District Democratic Congressman Baron Hill is expressing concern over the plan in how it will affect, "vital local services and small businesses."
Hill feels the proposal he introduced to Congress in Washington, which will allow all homeowners to deduct property taxes from federal tax bills, is a more responsible plan.
That bill has large bipartisan support in congress, including the support of the entire indiana delegation, according to Hill.
Bedford Republican State Senator Brent Steele has already released a statement saying he supports Daniels' plan.
