Rep. Hill Supports Reduction In Medicare Cuts

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Indiana Congressman Baron Hill says he is working to stop Medicare reimbursement cuts to local hospitals.
Hill so far has signed on to several letters and supported one bill limiting the implementation of the Bush Administration's proposed cuts.
Hill says the reimbursement cuts President Bush proposes would seriously affect the ability of hospitals to care for Medicare patients. The proposed cuts would take away about $20 billion from hospitals in the next 5 years.
Hill is pleased the bill he supported passed which would prevent $35 million in cuts to Hoosier hospitals alone.
