Prosecutor Turns Down Glenn Murphy Jr. Case

(JEFFERSONVILLE) - A special prosecutor named to weigh possible charges against former Clark County Republican Chairman Glenn Murphy Jr. has turned down the appointment.

John Colin is Chief Deputy Prosecutor in nearby Harrison County. He says he could not handle the case because he does not have time.

Clark Circuit Judge Daniel Donahue says he's discussing the assignment with another candidate.
