(INDIANAPOLIS) - Marion County’s mayoral and city-county council candidates have packed the Indiana State Museum for the annual “hobnob” candidate forum.
Candidates handed out stickers, shook hands and chatted with voters -- often just inches away from where their opponents were doing the same thing.
Taxes and public safety were top discussion topics. And candidates in both parties are emphasizing streets and sidewalks.
It's the second joint appearance of the campaign for Mayor Bart Peterson and Republican challenger Greg Ballard. They'll face off in formal debates next month.
