Carson Requests Time Off After Hospital Visit

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Seventh District Congresswoman Julia Carson’s office says a leg infection has kept her off the house floor for the last week.
Carson's missed 55 of the 77 votes this month, and requested a one-week leave of absence on Monday.
That was three days after her office says the 69-year-old Democrat entered Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis complaining of leg pain fatigue.
