(STATEHOUSE) - Indiana Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman is responding to Indiana House Speaker Pat Bauer’s assertion that the state should pay for new county reassessments, saying it makes “no sense.”
Skillman says even if the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance denied or rejected a county's initial reassessment data, the county would still be responsible for the new assessment.
