Last updated on Monday, July 09, 2007
(INDIANAPOLIS) - Hundreds of homeowners gathered Saturday outside the governor’s residence to call for relief from rising property taxes.
A morning rally prompted police to close Meridian Street as hundreds of angry homeowners took to the streets to plead for help.
Estimates put the crowd at 600 to 1,000 people. The protest was the second at the governor's residence since Wednesday.
