New Laws Include Weather Radios
Last updated on Monday, July 02, 2007
(EVANSVILLE) - New state laws take effect today, including one to require mobile homes to have weather radios.
The law was prompted by a deadly tornado that killed 25 people in the Evansville area two years ago.
Twenty of the victims were in mobile homes, and officials say few of them had radios.
