Former Congresswoman Seeking Governor Seat

(ARGOS) - Former Congresswoman Jill Long Thompson plans to formally announce a run for governor Tuesday.

Two other Democrats are seeking their party's nomination in the gubernatorial race.

Long Thompson plans announcements in South Bend, Fort Wayne and Indianapolis tomorrow, and in Evansville and Terre Haute on Wednesday.

State Senate Minority Leader Richard Young of Milltown and Indianapolis architect Jim Schellinger already are seeking their party's nomination.
