(CHARLESTON, S.C.) - One of the presidential candidates says he’d consider Indiana Senator Richard Lugar for Secretary of State, and it’s one of the Democratic candidates.
Delaware Senator Joe Biden, who inherited the Foreign Relations Chairmanship from Lugar when the Democrats won control of the senate, named Lugar when asked what Republican he'd turn to if he had to pick a Republican running mate.
Biden and John Edwards picked Nebraska Senator Chuck Hagel as a Republican choice for Vice President.
