Campaign Finance Reports Show Daniels Ahead Of The Pack

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Campaign finance reports reveal that Republican Governor Mitch Daniels has nearly four times as much money on hand as one of his democratic challengers.
Daniels ended the first six months of the year with 4.1-million dollars in campaign cash.
Democrat Jim Schellenger has raised 1.2-million dollars since he got into the race and has spent very little of it so far.
Figures were not yet available for State Senate Minority Leader Richard Young of Milltown, who also is seeking the democratic nomination.
Former Congresswoman Jill Long Thompson also is running as a Democrat, but she didn't officially become a candidate who could raise money until last week.
