Bayh Introduces Immigration Fraud Bill
Last updated on Thursday, June 07, 2007
(WASHINGTON, D-C) - Indiana Senator Evan Bayh is authoring legislation aimed at improving American workers’ chances of being hired for open jobs.
The measure would strengthen programs to identify immigrant hiring fraud and require employers to post online all vacancies for skilled workers before they request foreign worker visas.
The proposal is expected to be considered this week.
