Voting Bill Revived After Primary Problems

(STATEHOUSE) - Indianapolis’ problems with closed and partially manned elections polls last week have a state legislator reviving his proposal to allow Indiana to vote by mail.
The House passed Elections Chairman Matt Pierce's (D-Bloomington) vote-by-mail bill this year, but senators wanted more time to study the idea. Oregon and parts of Washington already vote by mail.
Pierce says it would remove the pressure to round up thousands of pollworkers and do everything perfectly for 12 hours.
