Romney Holds "Friend"raiser

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney visited Indianapolis for what his team called a “friend”raiser.
GOP faithful had the opportunity to meet the former Massachusetts governor in a private photo line followed by a general reception at the Columbia Club in Downtown Indianapolis.
Romney says the support he has received in campaign contributions is a testimony that people are receiving his message. Campaign officials were uncertain as to how much Romney raised in the Indy event.
The campaign has raised over $23-million dollars to date, grossly outpacing his competition.
Romney addressed questions concerning Iraq, saying he thinks the current administration made some mistakes following the capture of Saddam Hussein. However the Republican says pulling out now could lead to greater problems for the region and the United States down the road.
Romney says he supports the current plan to stabilize the region and says the results should be seen in the coming months and not years.
