Home Energy Assistance Extended

(STATEHOUSE) - Governor Mitch Daniels has signed legislation that will extend a sales tax exemption on the amount companies spend on home energy assistance under the low-income home energy assistance program.
The exemption was set to expire in June. It will be extended until July 2009. The new law goes into effect June 30th.
