Governor Signs First Bill Of Session
(STATEHOUSE) - Governor Mitch Daniels has signed his first piece of legislation into law for the current session.
Senate Bill 5 was signed on Tuesday, following approval of the measure by both the House and Senate. The bill extends the collection of a quality assessment fee for nursing facilities across the state.
The fee was first adopted in 2003 and was set to expire in August. This bill extends the collection through august first of 2009.
