Intellectual Property Rights Bill Introduced

Last updated on Friday, February 9, 2007

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Democrat Indiana Senator Evan Bayh and Republican Ohio Senator George Voinovich have introduced legislation to improve the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

Bayh says the Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement Act would create one organized force to combat IP theft and elevate the government's response to IP theft to the same level as money laundering and other black-market crimes.
