When Do You File For Property Tax Deductions?
Last updated on Wednesday, January 31, 2007
(STATEHOUSE) - State Senator Richard Young has authored a bill which would make it easier to know when to file for property tax deductions.
Young's law would mandate all deduction paperwork be due June 10th of each year.
Currently, some deductions are due June 10th and some the following day. The bill has passed out of the senate tax and fiscal policy committee and now goes to the full senate for consideration.
