Senator To Undergo Eye Surgery
(INDIANAPOLIS) - State Senator Sue Errington, who was injured during a mugging on the north side of Indianapolis last week, will have to undergo minor surgery to repair her injuries.
Two men, one of them carrying a gun, accosted Errington outside a drug store and stole her purse. During the scuffle, Errington received a black eye and a fracture of one of her cheekbones.
Doctors have advised Errington to have surgery to prevent the break from causing lasting eye damage. Police have not arrested the people responsible for the attack.
