Riverboat Bill Would Restrict ATMs And Lines Of Credit

Last updated on Tuesday, January 2, 2007

(STATEHOUSE) - A bill is being introduced in the Indiana Senate that would put new regulations on riverboats in the state.

Greenwood Republican Brent Waltz's bill would prohibit the installation of ATM's on riverboats.

It would also require certain riverboat gamblers to take breath tests if they want to obtain or access lines of credit. It would restrict access to credit if the gambler's breath test is over the .08 legal alcohol limit.

The measure would also require the installation of digital clocks on the interior floors of a riverboat.
