Indiana's Seat Belt Law Tightening Up

(STATEHOUSE) - Legislators are being tugged in opposite directions on Indiana’s seat belt law by a pair of bills in the house.

Representative Peggy Welch has introduced a bill to close the loophole exempting pickups and SUVs from the seat belt law.

The only trucks her bill would exempt would be farm trucks, and only while they're being used on the farm.
