(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana House Roads and Transportation Committee is supporting State Representative Jerry Denbo’s proposal to organize a work program to modernize the Indiana Department of Transportation’s highway repair.
House Bill 1117 would improve the way highway construction projects are done without constructing new travel lanes or repaving. The bill concentrates on safety issues and outlines specific ways constructions are done.
Denbo says Hoosiers deserve to be reassured that their roads will be maintained in a safe and timely manner.
