Time Zone Issue Resurfaces
(INDIANAPOLIS) - At least two lawmakers are planning to take another look at Indiana’s time zones.
Democratic State Representative David Crooks, of Washington, wants a referendum on the November 2008 ballot so Hoosiers can voice their opinions on whether Indiana belongs in the Eastern or Central time-zone.
State Senator Victor Heinold, of Kouts, has filed a bill that would require the governor to request that the entire state be placed on Central time.
