(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - A Washington political newspaper has produced a list of possible democrats to challenge Governor Mitch Daniels for the state’s top post in 2008.
Roll Call lists Indianapolis Mayor Bart Peterson as the best candidate, but says there are a host of others waiting in the wings if Peterson decides not to seek the job. Among them are Evansville Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel, State Senator Vi Simpson and former House Speaker John Gregg.
