Local Youth Nominated For Military Academy

(UNDATED) - U.S. Senator Dick Lugar has nominated candidates for the four U.S. academies.

Locally, Nicholas Porter, from Mitchell, has been nominated for the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Porter is now awaiting admission to the academy starting in July.
