Feds Say OK To Indiana's Private Social Services

(UNDATED) - The federal government has given its approval to Governor Mitch Daniels’ plan to partially privatize social services at the state level.
Daniels says he will sign off on the deal shortly. Under the plan, a team of vendors led by IBM would process applications for Medicaid, welfare and food stamps in exchange for more than $1.1-billion dollars over the next decade.
