Bayh Continues To Explore Presidential Race

(WASHINGTON, D.C) - Indiana Senator Evan Bayh is one step closer to a presidential campaign.

A source close to the Senator announced he intends to create an exploratory presidential campaign committee.

For the past two years, Bayh's been doing the legwork for a potential campaign. He's made five trips to New Hampshire and 12 to Iowa.

The Senator already has $10-million in his Senate Campaign Account. That money can be transferred to a Presidential Campaign.
