Co. Comm. and Council Members Vy For Vote

(BEDFORD) - Election day is only seven days away and politicians are stepping up the campaigning looking for your vote.

In the Lawrence County Commissioners race in District One, Republican Chris May and Democrat Dave Smith are vying for the seat. May works at Cook Inc., while Smith is an installation manager at C&M Conveyor in Mitchell. Other races include County Council District One, with Republican Keith Dillman and Democrat Carol S. Roop. In County Council District Two, Joseph Ross is the Republican, Blake Yeary the Democrat. In District Three, Republican Ross Jean, Democrat Fabian Perez, Jr., and Libertarian Greg Miller are up for that section. In District Four, Republican Steven Flores and Democrat Kevin M. Beasley are vying for that seat.

Polls will open at 6:00AM Tuesday and voters will have until 6:00PM to cast their choice. Listen in Tuesday night as we will have wall-to-wall coverage of the Lawrence County Election starting immediately after the polls close.
