(BLOOMINGTON) - A controversial ordinance which caused a Bloomington lawmaker to don a costume a week before Halloween was decided last night.
Stephen Volan attended last week's meeting in a yellow chicken suit to lighten discussion on a rule allowing chickens inside city limits.
The ordinance was passed and will now force owners to pay a $25 fee to zone their land for the necessary coops.
