(STATEHOUSE) - Two Republican senators want to tweak Indiana’s voter ID law.
The law requires voters to present a government-issued photo ID, with an expiration date. Indiana's 22-thousand military retirees have ID's where the expiration date reads "indefinite."
The election division ruled in April those are acceptable. Bedford Senator Brent Steele and Carmel Senator Mike Delph say adding it to the law will ensure they are.
