Indiana DNR Director Resigns

(STATEHOUSE) - The director of the State Department of Natural Resources says he’s stepping down.
Kyle Hupfer has submitted a written resignation to Governor Daniels.
Robert Carter, the head of the DNR's Office of Law Enforcement will move into Hupfer's position. Carter is a former two-term Clay County Sheriff.
Hupfer's last day will be December 1st. He plans to take a job with Proliance Energy of Indianapolis.
