(INDIANAPOLIS) - There were more ballot box issues in Marion County due to a programming glitch.
Ballot boxes which were programmed to close at 6:00PM could not shut off until 7:00PM. Marion County Democratic Chairman Ed Treacy calls the glitch a result of the ballot boxes being on "Mitch time," referring to Governor Daniels' Daylight Savings Time.
In Delaware County, voting was extended to 8:40PM in the county because of an early delay with a computer software problem. The Secretary of State's office approved the extension.
