Accounting Board Says Indiana Is Sound

(STATEHOUSE) - Accounting practices used by the Indiana State Board of Accounts have been certified as sound by a national auditing group.
The National State Auditor's Association has given the state board of accounts its highest ranking, saying the group's quality control is top-notch.
The audit was undertaken as part of an investigation by the U.S. Government Accountability Office which seeks to ensure all state auditing agencies are meeting national standards.
The reviews are conducted every three years. It's the second consecutive time Indiana has received a top score from the NSAA.
