State Has Expanded Renewal Energy Plans

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Governor Daniels has unveiled a program to expand the production and use of ethanol, biodiesel, and other renewal energy sources.

Daniels says the "Smart Way Grow And Go" program encourages automakers to make their cars more ethanol-friendly.

Daniels says Indiana is at the forefront of the ethanol and biodiesel revolutions.

The state is building 16 new biofuel plants, including the world's largest biodiesel plant, near Claypool.
