State Demcratics Want Answers From Governor

(STATEHOUSE) - The Indiana Democratic Party has filed a public records claim seeking to determine if governor Mitch Daniels looked for bidders for the South Shore Railroad.

Daniels says the rail carrier has never been up for bid in the same manner in which the Indiana Toll Road was leased earlier this year.

Department of Transportation officials say no such discussions have taken place, but democratic leaders say they want proof.
