(STATEHOUSE) - A big September in corporate tax receipts has kept Indiana on track to meet its budget goals for the fiscal year.
The state budget agency says corporate taxes came in $39-million higher than expected, offsetting poorer-than-expected collections in sales, casino, and individual income taxes.
The state finishes the first quarter nearly 21-million ahead of where it needs to be to make budget.
