(STATEHOUSE) - There’s another candidate to become Indiana’s next Senate President Pro Tem.
Gary Dillon, who represents the 17th district in the state's northeast corner, says he'd govern much the same way ousted Senate Pro Tem Robert Garton did.
Dillon says he's committed to fairness and wanted to give a republican caucus another choice.
Also in the running are senators Brent Steele, from Bedford, Tom Weatherwax and David Long.
