Mahley: Terrorism Still Huge Problem
(WEST LAFAYETTE) - A Purdue graduate and U.S. Ambassador says the nation is still trying to clamp down on terrorism here and abroad.
Don Mahley is the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Arms Control. He says the terror attacks of September 11th changed the equation for how the U.S. Government thinks about security.
He says several laws dealing with weapons of mass destruction have been passed to make sure nobody has a "biological weapons factory out in their backyard."
