Lawmakers Want Tighter Monitor

(STATEHOUSE) - State lawmakers say they want legislation which will more closely monitor confined feeding operations.

Republicans Tom Saunders and Bill Davis say they'll push for the legislation when the session convenes early next year.

They say the Department of Environmental Management could also solve the problem by sharpening its focus on cafos.
