(UNDATED) - The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has reviewed a list of possible terror targets compiled by the state, but it has a few questions.

Among them: How is the Amish Country Popcorn Factory in Adams County interesting to terrorists?

State officials say they misunderstood government directives when assembling the list. Consequently, thousands of possible targets were listed, far more than any other state.

Indiana Homeland Security Spokeswoman Pam Bright says in addition to comics making fun of the state, now the federal government is getting its jabs in, too. A review by a federal inspector says the criticality of many of the targets "...is not readily apparent."
