(STATEHOUSE) - In an effort to curb rising gas prices, State Senate Democrat Pat Bauer has called for Republican leaders to nix the state’s gasoline sales tax.
Bauer also says Governor Daniels should temporarily repeal the tax until the General Assembly can dismantle it altogether.
Indiana is one of only seven states with an additional sales tax on gas.
